After retiring from a full career as what his students called a life changing and gifted teacher, Mr Borgia embarked on an entirely new career as an actor. Brining his considerable talent, classroom skills and training with veteran actor Charlie Holiday, Frank became an instant regular on the Sacramento film scene. With numerous roles in short films, Frank felt ready for his starring role in "Wheel of Knowing- A Story of Hope."

Frank brought a youthful energy and an easygoing manner to the set, as well a deep respect for the things of God.
Melanie Baker Melanie Baker

Melanie Baker truly allows her life and talent to be used by God. When she's not developing and performing historical theatrical reenactments for the California school system, she's a leading the very active drama ministry at her church, Calvary Chapel East Anaheim. One of the highlights of her year is the drama mission trip to Hungary she takes every summer, where she has seen God touch thousands of lives. But even that isn't enough for this dynamo. She is constantly finding new projects, whether it's heading up a team for the 168 Film Festival or a lead role in Orange County's vibrant theater community Melanie is a constantly working actress.

Her hard work, strong performances, and a heart for the Lord convinced Michael Sewell that the lead role in "Wheel of Knowing-A Story of Hope," belonged to her, even as he was conceptualizing the script. Writing with Melanie in mind, he used her first name for the character. Melanie does a stellar job as the main character and brings a touching realism to this heartfelt drama.
Benjamen Toth Benjamen Toth
(Actor - Brad)

Benjamen had already formed his own production company; Toth Pictures, before finishing High School, working on short films and viral uploads. Acting wasn't even his first love, but he impressed the producers of "Wheel of Knowing- A Story of Hope," with his charisma and fresh talent, landing him the role of Brad.

Benjamen barely had time for filming, as his schedule required him to leave just days after filming wrapped to start school. Happily the timing was just right and he is currently studying filmmaking in Los Angeles, and we can look forward to great things from this vibrant artist.
Ben Barber Lacey Nycole
(Actress - Katlyn)

Lacey Nycole Herman, native to Lodi, CA, was born March 9, 1989. At a young age she became very interested in the performing arts, and participated in many plays, dance recitals, and art shows. Lacey can be seen in ads such as Alterna hair products, and Good Morning Sacramento. After landing a role in feature film, "Wheel of Knowing," Lacey moved to Los Angeles. In July of 2010 she married comedian William Rodgers, whom they met through a previous acting manager. They now reside in Southern California, both pursing their dream careers.
Ben Barber Ben Barber

Ben Barber found his passion for films while attending North Salinas High School. His schooling then took him to Azusa Pacific University where he followed his passion for the arts, performing in various on stage and on screen productions. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Broadcast he headed home to Salinas where he continued to produce video content.

Before long the City of Angels came calling and he found himself in an entry level position at Laser Pacific Media Corporation. There he ingested anything and everything he could surround the post production processing of major motion pictures. Passionate for the movies his heart may have been; but his heart had other desires, and before he knew it he had landed in Sacramento California where he married his beautiful wife Lindsay. Partnering with Michael Sewell, he then produced a short film for the Place Called Sacramento Film Festival entitled Wheel of Knowing. The film took first place and the two felt eager to tell the full story. With the help of many volunteers and after countless hours, the feature Wheel of Knowing was finally completed. Ben continues to produce commercials and photography. He looks forward to what the road ahead might bring.
Michael Sewell Michael Sewell
(Co-Director / Co-Producer / Writer / Actor - Roger)

After training at the famed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in NYC, Michael had many roles on TV and Off-Broadway, as well as countless performances as lead singer for various bands. After becoming a Christian, he decided to leave the "industry" and pursue ministry. It wasn't long before his talents combined with his passion for the Lord and he began to write and perform plays to share the Gospel. His first autobiographical play, "Heart in a Box," was an immediate success and launched a full time ministry that has spanned 19 years and taken he and his wife Jodi and daughter Mia around the world.

As he continued to produce new theatrical projects it was a natural progression to expand into film. Starting with short films Michael discovered a new passion which has now grown to include his first feature, "Wheel of Knowing-A Story of Hope." It is Michael's prayer that this film will inspire hope and draw people to the love of the Lord.
